11 Plus Size Brands That Will Make You Feel Confident and Stylish

It’s true that fat fashion is changing, and it’s about damn time. Although it should go without saying, I will say it nonetheless:

When it comes to accepting fat bodies, the fashion industry still has a ways to go.

But if the past ten years of plus size inclusion are any indication of the direction that the next ten years will take, shopping will no longer be a laborious process.

Looking at price and size availability when styling oneself can be challenging, and purchasing clothing that doesn’t even fit can stifle originality and the fun of fashion.

However, as the definition of obesity in fashion and daily life expands, we also need to take into account looks that include people in the conversation.

11 Plus Size Brands That Will Make You Feel Confident and Stylish

Extended sizes are becoming a common feature of department stores like Nordstrom and Target, as well as the brands they carry both online and in store.

In addition, with independent labels, plus size friendly hubs popping up on Instagram and TikTok, as well as niche e commerce websites, young designers are taking the battle of finding fashionable and vintage clothing in large sizes into their own hands.

Whether you already know your style or are currently working to develop it, everyone should be able to enjoy the creative side of fashion and feel included. It seems like the absolute minimum to have options.

Fortunately, the world of plus size, curvy, and overweight fashion is expanding, making it easier to purchase everything from well made cotton tshirts to specialty suits and dresses.

While some of these brands aren’t just for plus sizes, we had to include them because popular brands are becoming more and more diverse in their size ranges.

1. Good American

Good American is a directly with consumers denim and clothing brand that was founded by Emma Grede and Khloe Kardashian. The brand offers a complete sizing range, from 00 to 24.

Most denim brands only offer a small range of sizes because, in particular, jeans require separate prototypes based on the sizing think inseams and pocket placements.

With gorgeous on model images and in between sizes for each size of each product, Good American bridges that gap.
