When it comes to accepting fat bodies, the fashion industry still has a ways to go.
But if the past ten years of plus size inclusion are any indication of the direction that the next ten years will take, shopping will no longer be a laborious process.
Looking at price and size availability when styling oneself can be challenging, and purchasing clothing that doesn’t even fit can stifle originality and the fun of fashion.
However, as the definition of obesity in fashion and daily life expands, we also need to take into account looks that include people in the conversation.
Extended sizes are becoming a common feature of department stores like Nordstrom and Target, as well as the brands they carry both online and in store.
In addition, with independent labels, plus size friendly hubs popping up on Instagram and TikTok, as well as niche e commerce websites, young designers are taking the battle of finding fashionable and vintage clothing in large sizes into their own hands.

Additionally, they provide very stylish and contemporary basics for ladies up to size 22.

10. Maer
Maer is a size inclusive designer clothing brand that specializes in well fitting evening ready clothing for the modern woman. It was founded by former Michael Kors design director Megan Wall and former Crowne Plaza Hotels style director Donna Kang.
Sizes 2 to 22 are accommodated in Maer clothing thanks to their wrap styles, snaps, thoughtfully placed buttons, and stretchy, luxurious jersey fabric.

One of the largest plus size retailers created the Active Zone design. For a long time, they have inspired women of all shapes, sizes, and ages to be active.
