Lilli’s family moved often and she has lived in Texas, California, Ohio, and Washington. After she had difficulty finding standard clothes that fit her unique hourglass shape she gained an interest in pinup culture.
Lilli’s hobbies include designing, traveling, watching documentaries, perusing libraries and book shops, baking, and scouring antique stores, thrift stores, and flea markets for vintage treasures.

She was really inspired by watching old Hollywood movies with Marilyn Monroe and Brigitte Bardot. Because of her hourglass body type it was difficult to find clothes that fit her best as at that point in time, plus size fashion was not as huge a trend as it is in the market at this point of time.
She loved the fashion of the 60’s and 70’s and used to design her clothes keeping those styles in mind and click photos of herself.
She moved back to Ohio in 2011 after finishing fashion school. She began posting her pinup themed photos on social media in 2012 and created the pinup alter ego Lilli Luxe.
It started as a hobby, but her pages quickly grew. In 2014, a fan suggested that Lilli should try moving into commercial plus size modelling; it turned out she had exactly the right size requirements and look so she submitted her photos to a few agencies.
One agency, Dorothy Combs Models, emailed her back within ten minutes and asked her to send more photos. Shortly after that, she signed a contract with them and began working. She was shocked by how expensive the start-up costs were for becoming a plus size model.
Lilli had to pay for top professional photographers by herself thousands of dollars, and self-funded trips to New York. She was working corporate jobs during this time as a Graphic Designer and taking modelling jobs on the weekend. She also modelled for a few big American companies like TJ Maxx, Rue 21, and Secrets in Lace.
Over the years she has claimed fame as one of the most prominent plus size models who is a star and a celebrity on Instagram, arguable the most popular social media app in the world right now.
Lilli Luxe has made a name for herself as an Instagram star and curve model who is known for posting modeling pictures in outfits, swimwear, and lingerie. She is also known for founding her own community for women entitled Confident Curves and Radiant Minds.
