It has never been easy to find a great pair of plus size jeans we don’t know about you.
The skinny and jegging looks have been all the rage for the past few years. Not as much for us curvaceous girls, but great for smaller size gals.
Do the boyfriend, boot, or straight leg cuts appear narrower than usual, or is this just a figment of our imagination?
Finding the ideal pair that accentuated my strengths rather than drew attention to my flaws has been extremely difficult because, as a pear shaped woman, some women carry a lot of my weight in their hips and thighs.
Good news, ladies! There will be more options for jean shapes in 2024!
Dark or black jeans are our favorites. It’s a great purchase because it’s the most attractive and versatile enough to be dressed up or down.
High waisted and fuller legged jeans are among the many options available this year, which is fantastic news for plus size ladies like us. Denim is also a major trend this year.
1. Outfit – 1
Starting off with a casual yet stylish look, we have a black structured jacket, black straight leg jeans, and a ¾ sleeve multicolored t shirt that fits well. An interesting and colorful t shirt complements a pair of timeless jeans and a jacket to create a pop of color.
Brian Bailey made the stretch fitting jacket. Plus size women will love this item because it fits well and is incredibly comfortable.
Samoons’ Fall/Winter grouping is represented by the multicolored tee. To achieve a slimming silhouette, use accessories that have more color.
2. Outfit – 2
A cozy, informal look follows! You look great wearing plus size black jeans with this cozy, warm mustard colored Vivian Shyu sweater.
As mustard is a trendy color, you can find it in other collections as well. The mustard and black necklace is from the Zsiska collection from last year.
By including an animal print purse and flats, you can upgrade the getup.
3. Outfit – 3
Try these black straight leg jeans, a plus size black shirt that’s available on Amazon, and a black shirt to create a striking plus size workwear ensemble.
A mustard cardigan in Vivian Shyu style. Column dressing at its finest, I say! A tidy appearance suitable for any type of work. This can be dressed up with the animal print booties and purses of the season.
4. Outfit – 4
A recurring style that is based on column dressing is the black t-shirt and jean combo.
Top off with this Tribal Reversible Animal Print Jean Jacket, which is one of the biggest trends of the season.
This fantastic two piece jacket is perfect for layering. The jacket’s animal print in shades of black and grey elevates the black silhouette.
Turn the jacket inside out for a monochromatic effect that elongates and further slims the figure.
5. Outfit – 5
One of my favorite colors, chartreuse, is used in my most recent outfit. I wore a Marla Wynne raglan sweater over a mesh chartreuse turtleneck and the same black jeans.
An entirely new appearance that brings the pop of color to life. The necklace maintains the same hue. To maintain a long, lean silhouette, I like to wear this with black military boots.
These ones are by Ron White; the boot’s hardware and quilting provide an intriguing texture. Use a chartreuse bag to carry the color scheme through!
Best Jeans for Plus Size Women
1. Straight leg jeans
After spending the entire day working from home, our tester continued to wear these jeans to therapy and dinner. The level of comfort these jeans offered astounded us.
You loved wearing the Soft Tech jeans out, even though you can take them off after a big meal.
The best part is that these jeans fit your figure well, so you can feel confident wearing them.
The lighter color of the jeans is something you didn’t really like, but you can’t help but love how they fit you and will undoubtedly wear them again.
These jeans are straighter down the leg than right at the knee, which may not suit everyone.
However, because they hug the curves, support the buttocks, and don’t have a crazy cap in the waistband, they are fantastic for women who identify as curvaceous. The hype and money spent are well worth it for these Soft-Tech jeans.
2. High waisted jeans
Old Navy jeans are highly recommended by many curvaceous women because of their multiple options and reasonable price points.
They come in different sizes and fits and are comfortable to wear. With one exception, these jeans appear exactly as they do online: in person, the faded distressed lines running across the pelvic area are considerably more noticeable.
The extra high cut creates a smoother line from your back to your bottom and nicely tightens the waist.
Additionally, to keep the backend shape in a wide leg style, the pants should curve slightly under the bum.
You look great in these jeans. It took her a little while to get used to the unusually wide leg.
Additionally, you can see that her jeans dig into her stomach a little bit when she sits, and the thick denim suggests wearing them out rather than lounging around the house.
The amount of distressing is the only real issue, especially given how noticeable those horizontal lines are across the front.
Instead of being attractive, horizontal lines on a curvaceous woman can make her appear wider.
The jeans would have looked great with a lot less unnecessary embellishment, focusing more on the wow factor of the extremely unique silhouette created by the extra high waist, butt cupping, and extra wide flair.
Although our tester suggests the fit, the color scheme and design should be changed.
3. Legendary Trouser Jean (Plus Size Women)
For good reason, one of the most cherished and established denim brands.
The brand makes use of premium materials for comfortable wear throughout the day. With additional material at the bottom for high heeled boots, these pants have a mid rise fit.
Moreover, it stretches and is softer than other items in its line. Even though they’re in style, lighter washes can still feel dated to an older millennial tester; however, these are a good light wash color that doesn’t feel like her dad’s 1990s jeans.
This great mid weight jean fits the belly, hips, and waist well. They might need to be hemmed because they are a little long for many people.
Curvy or plus size jeans can sometimes give the impression of having a larger hip to waist ratio and more voluptuous hips.
Nevertheless, according to our tester, who is heavier in her abdomen and has straighter hips, pants that fit well around the waist frequently fit poorly around the hips.
An improvement in style from the standard leggings or skinny jeans, they’re fashionable and adorable yet still suitable for a person in their late 30s.
These jeans fit nicely, are comfy, and are attractive. A lot of plus-size clothing struggles to strike the right balance between giving in just enough and not giving out too much.
These stay on the flat butt rather than sunk into the waist. As a whole? For the curvaceous crowd, these are a huge win.
4. Best jeans for petite curvy women
These jeans provide a confidence boost because of their high-rise design and sculpting pockets that smooth and flatter. After testing them, we were pleased with the timeless appearance of these jeans right out of the packaging.
In case you are short in stature, you can search for jeans that won’t require you to constantly step on the bottom of the jeans or roll them up multiple times.
These jeans provide the traditional tight fitting, skinny jeans style, and they sit just right on your ankles.
If you have trouble finding jeans that fit in both areas of your waist and hips you may opt for saggy jeans that fall down easily or a big gap above your bottom.
5. Best skinny jeans for postpartum women
There is a wide range of styles available for these jeans, from traditional to modern. It has a deep wash and is relaxed.
If you are in between sizes and recently gave birth, you can try these jeans.
Finding the right fit for your body is difficult, but it’s much more difficult when you’re transitioning from a pregnancy to a new body.
Conclusion
These are the few outfits we pulled from my closet to wear in these amazing plus size black straight leg jeans. You can see that you can easily dress them up or down depending on what you pair them with.
